INTERNET AS A SPACE AND A NETWORKING TOOL POLITICAL PROTEST

Abstract

The article reveals the features of the Internet as a modern space for political communications. According to the results of the study, it is concluded that today the Internet space (including social networks, messengers, blogs, etc.) is increasingly used in the system of political management in order to implement certain functions: the generation of network information content to make a deep impact on mass perceptions of socio-political reality, as well as to mobilize the public in the network, which has a significant potential for both political and protest activity.
