MOLDOVA: A DIFFICULT PFTH TO EUROPE.
Abstract
Based on published materials and sources, the article examines the historical, internal and external, objective and subjective causes of instability in the Republic of Moldova, analyzes the features of the formation of the economic and political system, economic reforms, relations with Europe, economic reforms, relations with Europe, the CIS countries, with Russia, the prospects of Moldova as a state are substantiated. It is concluded that the European integration system-transformation model adopted by Moldova has so far proved incapable of guaranteeing the stable development necessary to overcome the historically inherited economic and social periphery, dependence on external forces.
