SOCIOLOGICAL STUDIES OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS (NPO) IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

Abstract

The article presents a sociological survey of studies of non-profit organizations (NPOs) carried out in the Republic of Moldova since its independence. It is noted that a number of studies have been carried out in the country in the field of non-profit organizations that implement a significant number of social projects. Political and sociological research was carried out in parallel, there was an accumulation of empirical material, and its scientific reflection.

The individual aspects of the functioning of NGOs were studied: their role in the formation of civil society; legal regulation of the activities of non-profit organizations; problems of their financing and interaction with government structures and business; personnel training; volunteer activities, various aspects of social policy. The role of non-profit organizations in the implementation of the tasks of Moldova's social policy has been insufficiently studied, and therefore, the author determines the further plan of their theoretical and empirical research.
